United Way of Northern California established the Shasta County Fire Relief Fund to aid victims of the Carr Fire. Tri Counties Bank is a partner in this fund and 100% of funds raised will benefit victims of the CARR Fire. Tri Counties Bank has also established a GoFundMe (click HERE) and enabled all branches with the ability to take an in-person deposit to the CARR Fire Relief Fund (members AND non-members). To participate, just tell your bank teller you'd like to make a donation to the CARR Fire Relief fund. All donations will be directed at United Way of Northern California for relief efforts. Applications will be accepted by mail, in person, fax or email. CLICK HERE for details. Paper applications can be accessed at our office (2280 Benton Drive, Building B, Redding) or at the Local Assistance Center (LAC) located at Shasta High School (2500 Eureka Way, Redding). We will be at the LAC from August 2- August 8, 9AM - 7PM.
If you need a ride to the Local Assistance Center or are in need of immediate help for basic needs, please contact our 24/7 human services helpline, 2-1-1 NorCal (also reffered to as 2-1-1 Shasta). 2-1-1 is a FREE service available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
