United Way of Northern California has served the community since 1953.
The last several years have seen significant expansion as the agency has stepped up to heightened needs in our region due to wildfires, COVID-19, economic stress, and other challenges.
We are proud of the way we have responded to these challenges, assisting thousands of our neighbors with emergency financial assistance, information and referrals, COVID resources and vaccine scheduling, financial stability programs including free tax preparation and health insurance enrollment, and social justice advocacy. As we do this work, we realize it is important to take a breath and consider the best way to serve the North State going forward.
This is where you come in – and where you can make a difference.
Take our confidential needs assessment survey to give your feedback about how United Way could best meet the needs of your community. Your answers will help as we craft our strategic plan for the next few years.
The survey will take about 15 minutes to complete. You will be asked at the end of the survey whether you might be interested in further interviews or discussions. That will be totally optional. Either way, we will be grateful for your participation, as it will help us be the best we can be on behalf of the community.
